Cacao Nibs / Powder

Cacao nibs are pure unadulterated pieces of cacao beans, dried and fermented. Nothing else has been added.  Nibs have an intense, deep chocolatey aroma and dark bitter flavour, and be can be eaten on their own or sprinkled over cereals or desserts.  Many other cheaper cacao nibs, typically use a blend of Carrillo beans (considered the best quality variety of bean) with other varieties of beans.  We try to source only 100% organic Carrillo cacao beans for use in our balls.  A delicious alternative to dark chocolate High in Iron, Phosphorus and Magnesium with wonderful advantages and health benefits.

Chlorella

Chlorella is a single-celled, blue-green algae produced by photosynthesis; the natural process by which plants absorb energy from sunlight. Batches of algae multiply naturally and rapidly in pools of pure water. It is harvested at the required density. Chlorella cells have a tough outer wall, which limits the availability of nutrition. The Chlorella I use is known as “broken cell wall Chlorella”. Its cell walls are broken by a high impact jetspray process before it’s dried and milled into powder. Chlorella is high in Riboflavin (B2) and a source of Zinc, which help to maintain healthy vision and protect cells from oxidative stress.

Moringa

Moringa Powder is made from the dried leaves of the Moringa “Miracle” Tree. Exceptionally rich in nutrients, this is probably one of my favourite powders, due to the fact that it provides sources of so many vitamins and minerals, including Iron, Protein, Calcium, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin K and Fibre. As Moringa Powder is a natural source of these nutrients, it is highly bioavailable, so our bodies can absorb the benefits more easily than by taking synthetic supplements.
